Practice Manager, Pediatric Nurse

Joe started with our practice back in 2015 as a triage nurse and assisted with many aspects of our practice as we transitioned to a new medical record system at the time. In 2019 he joined a practice affiliated with Boston Children's Hospital as the Clinical Operations Manager. There he led a team of 20 nurses and managed three separate offices developing new clinical policy, workflows, and quality improvement. Although he had left our office, we kept in frequent contact and knew he would rejoin our team eventually. Joe rejoined our staff in 2022 as our Practice Manager (and still a Triage Nurse!), when Dr. McKenzie and Lee McKenzie retired.

He brings back with him knowledge from working in a larger healthcare setting, and how we can continue to provide exceptional care in such a unique office environment. He is also our Billing Manager, and can help with any questions you have regarding insurance coverage or information. Joe is excited to be back providing care for the families he has grown to know, and to do so with a team of providers he has a deep respect for.

Joe lives in Medway with his wife Jess, and their St. Bernard Hugo.

Pediatric Nurse

Sandy is the”Nana” of our family. She has been a nurse since 1986 having graduated from the old Southeastern Massachusetts University now known as UMass Dartmouth. Her love for babies and children started from the very beginning of her career. She has been an LDR and postpartum nurse, subbed at her childrens’ school when they were younger and has been primarily focused on pediatrics since 2005. She enjoys helping the families of our practice. When she is not in the office, she enjoys the outdoors by hiking the beautiful mountains of New Hampshire or spending time on the ocean. She is a big supporter of the sea as well as wildlife and loves the go on whale watches to learn more on how to help the ocean life.

Front Desk Staff

Alex is our newest team member joining us from Connecticut! Alex is the first friendly face to greet patients and is always happy to help. Alex comes to us with several years experience working in clinical jobs, with professional background in pharmacy and other medical offices. While not a member of the clinical staff, Alex understands the importance of quality patient care. When not assisting patients in the office, Alex enjoys tabletop games, movies and the Pokemon he hides in our waiting room for patient’s to enjoy!
